Dr. Devon Allen, MD

Dr. Devon Allen is a board-certified physician specializing in Internal Medicine with an interest in treating obesity and improving metabolic health through weight management. Dr. Allen earned her medical degree from the University of Minnesota and completed residency training at Michigan State University. Dr. Allen believes that good communication with her patients is the cornerstone of providing quality healthcare. She understands the importance of teamwork between the physician and the patient and makes great efforts to meet patients where they are at. She is compassionate and nonjudgemental and personally understands how difficult it can be to lose weight. Given her own struggles with weight, she is very passionate about helping her patients achieve their weight loss goals through a multidisciplinary approach including a focus on nutrition along with medication treatment. Her care is evidence-based and individualized to each patient's needs and weight loss goals. Outside of work, Dr. Allen enjoys spending time with her husband, her daughter, and her dogs! She especially enjoys traveling in her RV and values meeting new people from different backgrounds and cultures. Although working as a physician is her “job” she states that it is one of her favorite things to do and she feels blessed to be a doctor!
