I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Lactation Counselor with over 8 years of experience. I went back to school to pursue a careeer in dietetics after my own health scare in my early 20s. Now, my specialty includes working with women in many different stages from fertility through pregnancy and postpartum, along with breastfeeding support and lactation nutrition. Personally, I had a family member struggle to conceive, and it wasn’t until trying to help her, did I realize how much impact nutrition can have on fertility and pregnancy. As a mother of two myself, I have first hand knowledge of the trials experienced in pregnancy - and how small dietary and lifestyle changes can have great impact on our overall health and wellbeing during this amazing time! My oldest child went through times of picky eating that was very stressful on myself and my husband. Learning how to trust her instinct around food choices, as well as my own, helped us both work past the selective eating habits, and focus more on her own intuition around food. I also specialize in working with people who have prediabetes, gestational diabetes, or Type 2 diabetes.

My coaching style

I believe that nourishing a woman’s body with foods that she not only enjoys but helps to support the stage of life she is in, can be a powerful way to optimize her health and wellbeing. I like to meet my clients where they are in their health journey, help them prioritize themselves and illustrate that all foods have a place in a well balanced diet. I practice nutrition by collaborating with my clients on small, realistic and sustainable changes that help them achieve their long term goals. It is remarkable how small but consistent changes can make a huge difference in a woman’s wellbeing!
