What to expect in your first session with this dietitian?
We begin our first session getting to know each other and discussing your goals and motivations to making changes to your families nutrition. I'll complete a thorough assessment by asking details about your kids medical history, what your day-to-day routines are, as well as typical foods and meals your family eats. I'll provide some initial nutrition education to empower you with first steps you can begin implementing right away. By the end of the session, you'll have a clear understanding of your goals and personalized strategies to start working towards achieving your families goals.
Approach to care
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 15 years of nutrition counseling experience with kids and families. Personally, I have loved food my whole life and found myself obsessed with nutrition at a young age. I also have an autoimmune condition that was diagnosed in my 20's. At the time, I was already been working towards becomng a dietitian and I developed a deeper interest and love of nutrition through this period in my life. I then received a Master’s of Public Health in Nutrition at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and had special training in pediatrics. I specialize in helping families with starting solids, picky eating, weight management, gut health, food allergies, high cholesterol, and pre-diabetes. To date, I have helped numerous families and kids address their individual nutrition concerns and reach their unique health goals.
Hobbies
I love to be active with friends and my family, from running, to snowboarding, to hiking and paddle boarding. I also love cooking. But most of my free time is taken up with all the activities and sports my two little boys love.

"This Dietitian helped me get my life back”
Gia M.

Jenny has been a game-changer for our 6-year-old's picky eating and our family's nutrition. With a personalized approach, she's helped expand our son's diet and taught us to make healthy, enjoyable meals for everyone. Her ongoing guidance has been a source of accountability and inspiration, making a lasting difference in our wellness. We're deeply thankful for her continued support and highly recommend her expertise to any family seeking positive dietary changes.

Mallory

Since working with Jenny our extremely picky 3 year old has gone from eating almost nothing to having a full rotation of approved meals, and she continues to make progress trying new foods. Jenny helps not only with strategies to introduce foods but also provides coaching on things like meal planning, blending kid and adult meals to eat as a family, and overall making mealtimes way less stressful. Jenny takes the time to understand our family and makes sure her recommendations are realistic and actually work around our routine like work, daycare, travel, extended family, etc. which is key to giving us confidence to put the strategies into practice!

Victoria

Jenny is wonderful. She is gentle with Piper and offers ideas and tips for both of us.
