About
I am a Registered Dietitian-Nutritionist and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist (CEDS) with over 8 years of experience. I received my nutrition education and training from the University of Missouri-Columbia. I specialize in working with clients who struggle with eating disorders and worked for 5 years at one of the top eating disorder treatment centers in the country. I also specialize in working with athletes looking to harness the power of nutrition without falling into obsession, those who are sick of the cycle of dieting and body hate, or anyone who is simply unsure how to fuel their body while navigating the confusing nutrition and food messaging in our society today. Persoanlly, I am a former collegiate athlete (soccer) and have competed several half marathons and 1 full marathon. When working with althletes, I love to help them to discover how food can be a vital tool in improving performance while still maintaining a healthy relationship with food and their body.

My coaching style

I’m unequivocally passionate about food! It has the potential to be a means of self-expression, cultural exploration, and human connection. While I absolutely believe that nutrition can be an important tool in helping us feel our best, I also know that health is so much bigger than what you eat and what works for one person’s body and life isn’t universal. In other words, food and nutrition are deeply personal and individual. I want to help clients let go of the idea that everyone needs to eat the same way and discover freedom with food in a way that works for their life and their body without obsession or shame.

“Let’s learn how to work with your body instead of against it. Together we can stop food from being an obsession that dominates your life and instead learn how it can be a source of enjoyment, nourishment, and connection.”
