Approach to care

Bio: I changed my major to Nutrition while in nursing school, inspired by a professor. I have worked in endocrinology, clinical inpatient and outpatient, corporate health, and private practice hybrid telehealth. Career accomplishments have been the inaugural ADCES Award, a grant from the CDC for cancer prevention, 4 years on the CBDCE Board, and service on Task Force and Exam Committee. I have lived and worked in various areas of the US. Expertise: As a RD/CDCES I specializing in Diabetes: Prediabetes, Type 1 and 2, and Gestational. I also counsel for Chronic Kidney Disease, hypercholesterolemia, hypertension and Women’s health. I am qualified to counsel adults of all ages and look forward to helping you in your wellness journey. Coaching Style: I have a proven track record of client retention and helping to encourage sustainable behavior change through client selected goals and accountability. I seek to empower clients through personalized practical tools which help identify their progress. Years of Experience: I’ve been a RD, CDCES, LDN for 18 years enjoying motivating clients to meet their goals of reducing health risks and preventing further complications of metabolic syndrome. I am licensed in North Carolina, Illinois, Utah; also treating clients in Arizona, California., Colorado, and Virginia.
